Moral
Values are the worthy ideals or principles that one follows to distinguish the
right from the wrong. These ideals or virtues are considered worthy in building
up the character of an individual. Moral Value refers to the good virtues such
as honesty, integrity, truthfulness, compassion, helpfulness, love,
respectfulness, hard-work, etc. Students are the future of India. The future of
our country depends upon the moral values imparted to them during their student
life. Moral lessons should be properly implemented among students in school and
colleges. Moral values are taught by the parents & teachers in student life
by telling what is right, good, bad or wrong for them or in front of the
society. A person who sticks to his moral values is said to bear a
good character. There are two schools of thoughts when it comes to moral
values. As per one, a person must have good moral values even at the cost of
his/ her happiness. On the other hand as per the other one a person must not be
too strict with oneself and that moral values may become a cause of stress. The
youth these days is more inclined towards seeking happiness rather than valuing
moral values. This may be attributed to the growing influence of the western culture.
